What is Clipchamp?

Clipchamp is an online video editing platform designed to be easy to use, even for beginners. It lets you create and edit videos without requiring technical expertise. Core features include trimming clips, cutting unwanted sections, adding text overlays, transitions between scenes, and filters to adjust the look of your videos.

Clipchamp also includes a library of stock media — videos, images, and music — that you can add directly to your projects. It supports a range of video formats, and you can share finished videos straight to social media. It is suited to both individuals and businesses that want to produce professional-looking videos without a complicated workflow.

Who created Clipchamp?

Clipchamp was founded by Alexander Dreiling in 2013 in Brisbane, Australia. Dreiling is a tech entrepreneur with a background in software engineering and product management. His goal was to build a user-friendly video editing solution for individuals and businesses.
