What is Audacity OpenVINO?

It provides tools, libraries, and pre-optimized kernels to help developers deploy applications on Intel CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and VPUs. The toolkit speeds up deep learning inference at the edge, optimizes neural network performance, and simplifies integration of computer vision functions.

Who created Audacity OpenVINO?

Intel Corporation created OpenVINO. Intel was founded in 1968 by Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore and is known for designing and manufacturing microprocessors. OpenVINO is one of Intel’s technologies for optimizing deep learning tasks across its hardware platforms.

How to use Audacity OpenVINO?

To use OpenVINO for AI effects in Audacity:

1. Get the plugins: Download the Windows plugins from the OpenVINO plugins release page. Linux and macOS users can compile the project themselves.
2. Install them: Install the downloaded plugins on your system.
3. Apply the AI tools:
   • Spoken word: The Noise Suppression plugin reduces background noise; the Transcription plugin writes down and can translate speech.
   • Music: Music Generation and Music Style Remix use Stable Diffusion to create new music from prompts or remix existing music. Music Separation splits a song into vocals, instrumental tracks, drums, bass, and an “everything else” category.
4. Export transcriptions: In Audacity, go to File → Export Other → Export Labels.
5. Get help: Use the plugin’s issue tracker for questions or feedback.
