OI Avatar is a web-based platform that uses AI to create videos featuring digital avatars. You can generate a speaking avatar of yourself with an English accent in under five minutes. The tool supports English with a choice of British or American accents, accepts custom background images uploaded as PDFs, and works in most browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Video generation usually takes about 5 minutes, after which you receive a link to download your video.

How does it work?

1. Record: Speak for about 20 seconds so the AI can capture your voice.
2. Script: Type your script (up to 225 characters in English) and choose a British or American accent.
3. Customize: Optionally upload a background image in PDF format, then click “Generate Avatar.”
4. Download and practice: Processing usually takes around 5 minutes, and you’ll receive an email with a download link. Use the MP4 video to practice pronunciation at your own pace, focusing on specific words you find difficult.
