EmoGPT

What is EmoGPT?

EmoGPT is a free Google Chrome extension built for Gmail users. It uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT to generate personalized email replies, follow-ups, rewrites, and cold outreach messages, and it remembers your preferred email formats and settings.

After installing it from the Chrome Web Store, you open EmoGPT through the smiling emoji button in your Gmail toolbar, choose your preferred tone and structure, and click “Compose” to generate a personalized draft. The extension requires access to your ChatGPT account.

Privacy is a stated priority: your settings are stored locally in your browser, and the extension communicates only with ChatGPT and Gmail.

The main trade-off is scope — EmoGPT works only with Gmail in the Chrome browser, so it can’t be used on mobile or offline.

Who created EmoGPT?
