Deforum Studio

What is Deforum Studio?

Deforum Studio is an online platform for creating animations directly in your web browser or through Discord. It offers several pricing plans — Deforum Top-up, Deforum Explorer, and Deforum Pro — each with a set number of animations per month, plus perks like private creations and access to the Discord bot. You can buy additional credits to keep making animations, depending on your plan.

Who created Deforum Studio?

Deforum Studio was founded by Luke Montague. The platform’s subscription options — Top-up, Explorer, and Pro — allow users to create animations for commercial use. Each plan includes a different monthly animation allowance, and credits can be added as needed. Plans also include features like up to 5 simultaneous generations and the option to keep animations private, so they don’t appear on the public feed or Discord channels.

How to use Deforum Studio

1. Sign in on the Deforum Studio platform, where you can browse animations, buy credits, and start creating.
2. Choose your animation method: create animations directly on the web platform or through Discord. If you start on the web, you can link your Discord account later.
3. Pick a pricing tier: Deforum Top-up, Explorer, or Pro. Each includes a different number of animations per month, its own features, and its own pricing structure.
4. Top up credits if you exhaust your monthly allowance. Top-up costs vary by plan.
5. Use plan features: plan level determines how many animations you can generate at once — the Pro plan supports up to 5 concurrent generations — and whether you can make private generations, which stay off the public feed and Discord channels. The Discord bot can also be used via private message.
6. Browse featured animations on the platform to see examples of other users’ work.
