Magic by Shopify

What is Shopify Magic?

Shopify Magic is a suite of tools available free to all Shopify merchants, regardless of subscription plan. The tools are designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs. A standout feature is the product description generator: you input keywords you want to target for SEO, which helps produce product descriptions that grab attention.

Shopify Magic is built into Shopify’s secure system and follows Shopify’s privacy policies, the same protections used by millions of businesses worldwide. While not every feature is fully optimized for mobile yet, the platform offers a range of capabilities intended to improve the e-commerce experience for Shopify users.

Who Created Shopify Magic?

Shopify Magic was created by Tobias Lütke, Daniel Weinand, and Cody Fauser. Tobias Lütke, a German entrepreneur, is the CEO and a co-founder of Shopify. Daniel Weinand is another co-founder, known for his design work, and Cody Fauser joined the founding team early on and played a key role in building the platform.

Shopify was founded in 2006 and has grown into a multinational company providing platforms for online stores and retail point-of-sale systems, serving businesses around the world.
