How to use Ideamap?

Here’s a simple guide to get the most out of Ideamap:

  1. Creating a New Workspace: When you want to start brainstorming, just click “Create new workspace” from the workspace selector. Then, you can choose whether it’s a “Team workspace” for group projects or a “Personal workspace” just for you.
  2. Leaving a Workspace: If you need to exit a workspace, it’s pretty straightforward. Look for “Settings & members” or “My account” in the sidebar. Once you’re there, go to the “Settings” tab under the “Workspace” section. Scroll down until you see the “Danger zone,” and then just click “Leave workspace.”
  3. Adding Longer Ideas: Want to add more detail to an idea? Just edit the idea, hit enter twice to create two new lines, and anything you type after that will be neatly tucked away on the idea card. You can even format the text, add links, titles, and more. To see the full idea, just hover over the description icon on the card.
  4. Anonymous Idea Authors: Right now, Ideamap doesn’t let you submit ideas anonymously. However, you can have anonymous authors when you’re voting! Just select the “Anonymous idea authors” option when you kick off a new voting session.

Following these steps will help you easily use Ideamap’s cool features for brainstorming and managing ideas together. Give Ideamap a try to boost your team’s creativity and make your workflow more productive!
