What Is Deckassistant?

DeckAssistant is a Stream Deck plugin that connects your Stream Deck to an AI assistant powered by ChatGPT. Select text in any application, press a button on your Stream Deck, and the AI processes it for you. A freeform prompt feature also lets you ask the AI questions directly.

The plugin was created by Martijn Smit and runs on macOS 11 and later, on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

Setup

Getting started takes a few steps: create an account at DeckAssistant.io, copy your API token from the dashboard, install the Stream Deck plugin, add a new button, and paste in the token. The API token is required to authenticate you to the AI.

DeckAssistant costs about US$9.00 per month. The subscription includes Stream Deck integration, freeform prompts, direct ChatGPT interaction, folder organization, custom prompts, message editing, history search, and data export. Payments are handled securely, a 30-day refund policy is offered, and support is available if you have questions.
