What is WPimagines AI Image Generator?

WPimagines is a free AI image generator that creates images from text descriptions. Generated images can be viewed and downloaded in 512x512 or 256x256 pixel sizes, and you can generate two images at once. There is no limit on how many images you can download, but download links expire after one hour.

The tool also supports collages: you can combine generated images into collages and remove images from them. Planned features include additional size options, exporting images in different formats, and image editing tools.

The site is built with JavaScript, MongoDB, Node.js, Express, HTML, CSS, and Figma. All images shown on the homepage were generated with the tool itself.

WPimagines was started by a single developer who is currently building an app to add more features, such as multiple image sizes and editing capabilities.

How to use WPimagines

1. Open the WPimagines tool on the Web Playground website.
2. Type a description to generate a free AI image — for example, “a lion” or “an African-American man riding a horse through a meadow.”
3. View the generated images on the platform.
4. Download them in 512x512 or 256x256 pixel size.
5. Optionally, build collages from your generated images or remove images from them.

Download links are deleted after one hour, so download your images promptly.
