What is Voice-Swap?

Voice-Swap is a platform that lets you transform your singing voice using AI. It features a group of artists who partner with Voice-Swap and earn royalties whenever their AI voices are used. Subscribers can share their Voice-Swap audio on social media, use the AI voices of session singers in their tracks, and request a license to use the AI voices of featured artists in their music.

A “Stem-Swap” feature lets you replace the voice on your tracks and download the separate stems with the new voice applied. The platform actively monitors and prevents the creation of audio containing harmful content, such as hate speech. It’s a practical tool for tweaking lyrics and melodies by trying different voices on your tracks.

Who created Voice-Swap?

Voice-Swap was founded by Dan Stein, also known as DJ Fresh, who serves as Co-founder and CEO. He brings 25 years of experience across music and tech, including time as a music producer and record label owner. The team also includes Nico Pellerin, Co-founder and Chief Architect, and Chris Gilbert, Chairman and a well-known figure in music and tech. The company’s goal is to use AI to transform singing voices and make remote music collaboration easier.

Pricing and getting started

Voice-Swap offers three subscription plans: Beginner, Pro, and Ultimate. Each plan provides a different number of credits and feature access. If you prefer not to subscribe, you can buy credits directly — 1 credit per voice conversion and 10 credits per download — and purchase more whenever you run out.

Once you have credits, browse the available voice models, upload your vocals, and choose the artist voice you want. You can also use Stem-Swap to replace the voice on your track with one of the featured artists. If you plan to use the AI voices of session singers commercially, purchase a license at the published rate, or reach out to an artist’s team to discuss terms.
