What is Nepobb?

Nepobb (Nepo Baby) is an AI tool that assesses whether a celebrity’s entertainment career has benefited from family ties. It uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to analyze media reports and public opinion, evaluating potential nepotistic connections and delivering clear results.

Its accuracy is limited: nepotism that isn’t widely reported or publicly known may go undetected, which can lead to incomplete or inaccurate results. Even so, the tool offers insight into industry power structures and highlights individuals who may have benefited from family connections.

Who created Nepobb?

Nepobb was created by Winona Wee and André Mezzomo, with help from colleagues at W+K London. It launched in May with the goal of spotting nepotism in the entertainment industry and sparking conversations about nepotism and opportunity in the field.
