It uses AI to make exploring, acquiring, managing, and critically reading knowledge easier. Its core feature is the Copilot, which lets you ask questions directly about papers and get answers right away, helping you dig deeper into the material.

The platform is part of a larger tech ecosystem for researchers and works alongside Trinka AI, a writing assistant for academic and scientific writing. Enago Read was developed by Enago, part of the Crimson Group, a company with a long-standing history of providing author services—English editing, localization, and translation—worldwide.
