What is CareerPen?

CareerPen is an AI tool that generates personalized cover letters for job applications. It works as a browser extension plugged into LinkedIn: one click on a job post produces a cover letter tailored to you and that specific role, drawing on the skills and experiences from your profile most relevant to the posting. Generation takes about 60 seconds.

You can also use CareerPen without the extension through its dashboard — paste in a job description from any posting outside LinkedIn and generate from there. Privacy is a stated priority: the tool only uses public information from your LinkedIn profile. There are no subscriptions; you buy one-off packages, and the code is open source.
