Afterword is a summarization tool for web articles, YouTube videos, plain text, and audio files. Summaries can be saved in your account for later reference.

Content can be added by pasting a URL, uploading a file, or using the Chrome extension. Supported file types include PDFs, DOCX, EPUB, MP3, and MP4. YouTube videos can be converted into text summaries, and users can choose the summary length — the Chrome extension gives control over the exact length. Additional features include source verification, auto-categorization, and adding notes to summaries.

Afterword also integrates with Pocket: connect via your profile icon by choosing Pocket and clicking Connect, then import your Pocket saves. Afterword automatically labels saves into searchable categories.
